Scowen and Roberts alone would have turned us into a play-off team?

    Come on.

I'd argue that Roberts is barely an improvement on what we have now.

Scowen certainly is in the middle of the park, but he wouldn't be enough on his own to turn us into a top 6 team.

At the end of the day its pointless looking back & saying what would have happened if we had kept x, y & z player , the past is gone & hopefully we learn from the mistakes made but you cannot turn the clock back , its gone . Fingers crossed we stay up & begin to move forward, at the same time being aware of past errors & use them as a learning curve

I dont agree that he did, he ran around a lot, which in a red shirt passes for ability it seems !

Fair enough, I’m not advocating him as one of our better midfield players we’ve had - he certainly wasn’t and dropped off towards the end but I still think he contributed more when he was playing well than any of our current midfielders do. He won player of the year in 2012/2013.
