I filled form ot and was contacted to go on via email and then speaking to someone from production team. Had to give backword cos something has cropped up this evening.. Shame was quite looking forward to it tbh.. Saying that, thought the panel a bit crap..They should have given one of our local MP's a chance to be questioned to see how they stack up... Stick an Independent in there, only one on the panel who isn't a politician.
After watching QT for 40mins about Brexit .. I've changed mi view on it.. i'd vote for eu in a heartbeat after listening to over half hour of this ..
Good viewing, brilliant audience - l thought it was going to be a load of folk stuck in 1984. You dont see many of those folk walking around town though...
Yes it was, I believe it’s still to be fully developed yet. I was in there a few weeks ago at a concert.
I can’t recall a Question Time with so many hecklers, people in the crowd arguing amongst themselves and interrupting both each other and the panelists. Some good points raised at times but my personal highlight for all of the wrong reasons was the ‘hero’ who offered to end homelessness by buying ALL of the council houses within the borough provided that the 3% additional SDLT rate is scrapped. Excellent stuff.
Agree some sensible debate. What I didn't like is that the politicians on the panel tried to score political points and evaded the original question that had been asked. Sadly they are so disconnected from society, they are unable to relate to a lot of the hardship that working class folk face in their everyday lives.
His point was utterly ridiculous and I’m glad that someone challenged him on it. I would’ve liked to see his point be challenged by the panel as well though but unfortunately by that stage the time was almost up and the chair was rattling through comments and questions like they were going out of fashion which is a shame as many a good point was made towards the end as well.
I take your point and whilst I don’t doubt that many questions are from ordinary folk, quite a lot of them are loaded in a way that they can’t be answered directly without having to link other issues and therefore seemingly going off topic.
I think that there were only 2 on that panel would’ve really challenged him to be honest, The Labour MP and the Professor.
