Question Time line up for 2moz

The very wording and manner of the opening question meant that the panel were on the defensive from the off and the sheer aggression of some of the mouth breathers in the audience was staggering, when a former political editor of the Daily Mail is getting spontaneous applause from a supposedly representative cross-section of the Barnsley population then the town must have changed beyond all recognition from the place I was born.

I think I know what you mean - but would love a more nuanced explanation of what constitutes a "mouth breather"

Is the audience supposed to be representative of the town the programme is filmed in.

I thought they tried to achieve a balance across the debate regardless of the towns political bias- i.e. they would try for 50% remain 50% leave regardless of the referendum outcome etc in the town that the filming was taking place.

Also I thought anyone could apply for tickets - i.e. I could apply for tickets for filming in Swansea - so there could have been representation from Wakey, Rotherham, Sheffield, Leeds, etc.

It did seem most of the audience were from Barnsley - but are you sure the producers aim for a representative cross section.

 

Question time is known for Tory plants in the audience, been caught out many times for it. I watched with disbelief at the seemingly pro tory audience there, not representitive at all for me.

 

It's a Tory propagandafest. Especially since dimblebie took control onit.
Most of those pro brexiters were racists .. it's the biggest smokescreen since Thatcher...

 

Who was the loud mouthed finger stabbing muppet and the fat bloke on the front. Where in the Town did they dig them up from. That pro Brexit group in the audience made us all look stupid.

 

A mouth breather is someone that lacks the mental capacity to do anything without breathing through their mouth. Typically seen in places like Cleethorpes on a bank holiday walking slowly down the path struggling to walk, talk and breathe at the same time...

 

I used to work for the lad with grey slick back hair who was criticising both Labour and the Tories over brexit . He's called Andy Green he's built his own business up from nowt so deserves some credit. Talked some sense as well .

 

Best QT in years, they failed to bus in all the Remainer audience members like they have done every other time it's been hosted in a Brexit-voting town. Bus must have broken down!

 

The QT audience were far more representative of this town than this message board is which is much more like Momentum than a representation of ordinary Barnsley people and football supporters.

 

Well if you put 2 certain people off here on ignore, as I have, then you'll find Louis Armstrong singing his most famous song to you.

 

Thats your opinion, Barnsley and District have 3 labour M.P's with large majority's and if it was representative of the town there would be far more labour voters in the ordinance than the right wing people, you also think that everyone who backs labour in these debates is a member of Momentum which is pure Tory bullshyte to be honest.
I was pleased with it being a mixed ordinance one-sided one's are not worth listening to.

I'm on about the last election, when they're supposed to be representative of the borough. I'd love to see the age breakdown of the voters too.
