All being well it will be Martin Devaney on our new YouTube channel next Tuesday at 7pm.

Post any questions here and we’ll make sure as many as possible get asked. Obviously with Martin being the current U23 coach the rules of staying positive apply even more!

I’m putting ‘Elsecar Heritage Centre’ in to the swear filter for the rest of the Summer

In that case could you ask him if he's been to the place with an old railway station near hemingfield and jump? ;)

Alternatively ask him what made him decide to settle down in Barnsley despite not coming from here? That's if he lives in Barnsley of course

Any tips for a young player to be the next big thing in the first team?

1.has a special place in all Tarn fans hearts that saw him play. Which I'm sure he's aware of. How does that feel.
2.Was that goal at Bradford. His best if not what does he consider to be his best. For Barnsley that is.
3.Where did Disco originate and why.

Work hard and listen to the coaches (arse licking also helps).

Who has helped him most in his role as a coach and would he ever want to make the step up to head coach/manager?

Not absolutely sure HF, but I believe that the name " Disco" came about as a result of his ability to
effortlessly dance round the opposing full back or defender to get his cross into our
forwards. He seemed to be able to glide past them with little effort and during his six years
with the Reds as well as his own tally of fifteen goals, he made countless chances for others.

That's right. Its because he has disco feet. Already had the nickname when he was at Cheltenham before we signed him

Did he realise the moment it left his foot just how good that cross was against Chelsea??

    Which was the better cross?
The one which led to Odejaye scoring against Chelsea, or the one which led to Foster scoring against Liverpool ?

I know which one I think was the best!

Both good crosses and both evoke great memories for me as I unfortunately couldn't be at either game. I was on business in the South when we beat Chelsea and listened to it on the radio in the hotel bar. I still have Radio Sheffields Paul Walkers commentary on the goal as an alert on an old Motorola phone I still have to this day.

When we beat Liverpool, along with other family members from Donny, Barnsley and the Midlands, I was at my brother in laws wedding at the Regent Street Hotel on South Parade in Doncaster. Nobody had given us a price of winning at Anfield. I was at the bar when my wife's cousin who is also a Reds fan ran into the bar and told us all we had won. You'd have thought we'd won the Cup itself. We had all booked rooms to stay overnight at the hotel and as you can imagine, it turned out to be a hell of a night after that news came through.

I’m firmly in the Foster camp but we’ll see which one he says!

Has he told his kids about the day he played Gareth Bale off the park, resulting in Bale being substituted at half time?
