I'm watching this election campaign, with the Tory's playing the cards that Trump won with and seeing the British electorate not falling for it. 2 months ago I'd have predicted a small Tory majority - but I'm currently thinking we're on our way to a minority government again, because the Tory party tried to play too smart and constantly failed, They've not realised that it was the media that beat Milliband with only a mild but ***** campaign for Cameron. A very carefully managed campaign to keep May out of the spotlight barely succeeded, and now a negative campaign seeking to hold Labour to higher standards than they can reach will fail abysmally. We're not that stupid.

Anyone who's hoping for 'get Brexit done' will be sadly disappointed - i just wonder how long they can continue to blame our elected representatives for doing what they were elected to do,

Takes a special level of stupid for a party to campaign on a strategy of the country deserves better than the last 9 years of us, but it goes into the stratosphere when people agree and still vote for them!!

They know the principles are popular, so attack the leader.
Social housing = public thinks is a good idea.
Living wage = public thinks is a good idea.
NHS = public thinks is a good idea.
Nationalised utilities = public thinks is a good idea.
= less money for Tory benefactors
Therefore make Corbyn the Bogey Man.

But that's my whole point Labour should be out of sight in the polls by now but Corbyn and his lot are making them unelectable

But any Labour leader will be made the Bogey Man by the mainstream media just to deflect people from the polices that the rich fear.

It doesn't help when the bulk of MSM a Tory supporting so try every trick in the book to brainwash people against him and you then get the social media blitz of propaganda against him too which is probably even more effective. All I've had on Facebook since the election was called has been Tory , Brexit Party and other supporting ads....the latest being Turning Point UK which is an America based Trump supporting youth organisation running an anti Corbyn ad campaign.

Did you see what happened to the last Labour leader - couldn't have been less controversial yet the media managed to wreck his chances.

Again - I'm no Corbynite - but we have to stop blaming Labour for the bad press and see it for what it is.

Or he’s sat on the fence going for best of both worlds?
By offering a choice between an agreed deal or remain he has his foot in both camps, remainders can vote for him knowing they will get another referendum, Brexiteers too thinking he can get a better deal.
Thought he was good tonight TBF.

Don’t understand why Sturgeon is there though, I know people will say because she like Swinson can be a Kingmaker, but she is only a leader of what amounts to a regional party not a party that is standing all over the country.

Excuses? The s**t scared media have tried burning him alive this past few years. Its not our job the excuse him, the burden of proof lies solely with our mainstream media. So far, nothings been forthcoming

Pulled his pants down didn't he? I'm no big fan of Corbyn, but there's a lot of Tories running around like headless Chickens tonight.

Not sure why Sturgeon was there instead of Blackford, but the SNP are the 3rd largest party in Westminster.

Having watched the entire show and irrespective of what people say they think about the leaders per se I think
    Corbyn 8/10
    Sturgeon 7/10
    Swinson 3/10
    Johnson 2/10

I have my own reservations about Corbyn as a leader but on tonight's showing, where he was given chance to articulate some kind of vision he was miles ahead of Johnson. Johnson looked like a bemused wounded animal with no place to run to. He was inarticulate, visionless and confused. Sturgeon was the most statesmanlike but had a limited remit. Swinson looked like she was out of her depth. Evasive and falsely apologetic. Gives me hope as a labour voter... Hopefully people will wake up to the emptiness of what Johnson really represents.
However..... I still think the Tories will win. Unbelievably!

She has to have her fifteen seconds of fame to push for a second in a generation vote for independence .

I realise that I know very little about the ramifications of Scottish Independence but what happens re :
    The Barnett formula .
The removal of the submarine base .
Can the Romans build the wall higher ? For a Hard Border .
Can England deport Scottish criminals ?

Can the English vote in the Independence Referendumb ?

Will Arabian Ian take this in good humour ?

Answers on a postcard to DWLC at London Bubble dot com .

Yes the cricket got boring . Nighty night . BFC will be alright .
    Fingers crossed .
