But Stendel wasn't allowed to sign his own players, other than the ones he did sign. #SackTheSpreadsheet
What, THE Nick Colgan who saved a penalty at the Millennium stadium to get us promoted? Agree he wasn't the best, but your telling me that Radlinger has outperformed Colgan?
I did, forgot about him (thankfully) but was Preece on 8k a week? Doubt it. Maybe I should have phrased it differently. Pound for pound, Radlinger is a clear winner of the worst goalkeeper we've ever had
Keith Hill’s spreadsheet was just Rochdale’s 2010 squad list. Flicker took nepotism to the next level by signing the best man from his own wedding. I wonder whether these factors played a part in signings being taken largely out of the manager’s hands?
I don't believe Radlinger was on anything like 8k a week. I'm not going to take anything as gospel on a site in the public domain that claims to know what wages are for all players.
Stop this - His wife is fit so we should all be incredibly disappointed he’s left. I don’t get this place sometimes.
I don’t think he’s a bad keeper at all, he suffered because it was a brand new defence & goalkeeper playing together. He would’ve looked a lot better in the team with a settled defence after lockdown. He’s nowhere near been one of our worst keepers. As we changed keepers quite a lot it’s hard to remember who played in which games earlier in the season but I remember him been excellent in the opening game against Fulham & then in a home game pulling off an outstanding one handed save at full stretch in front of the Ponty. As it’s turned out Walton’s improved loads & Collins is decent so he’s not needed but hindsight’s a great thing. You put young lads like Walton or Collins behind Mads & Bambo when they were making terrible mistakes every week & it could’ve wrecked their confidence. As it is we’ve stayed up & have two good young keepers to battle it out for the starting role & Radlingers got himself a club back in Austria so all’s good. And stop repeating that £8,000 a week nonsense. It’s figures off of a game.
I can't remember how bad Mike Pollitt was? Only remember him for the shocking treatment from Flitcroft to a far better keeper who was well liked and respected by most fans.
Bahre? Another Stendel signing? Again, your defence of any Stendel post, tongue in cheek and in good humour or not, is admirable. There was no criticism there though. It was just a joke.
