He was 18 when we signed him though. At 25 a player is close to their peak and still playing in the Conference North.
Would like to see these as targets.. Erhun Oztumer Eoghan O’Connell Graham Carey John Marquis Especially Eoghan O’Connell, big centre half currently on loan at Walsall from Celtic. But would they let him go??
His contract expires this summer so could go either way. With him being 21, I can't see him getting another contract up there so could be a good shout. Can't see the wages being a massive issue either.
I accept the age difference, but there are exceptions, for example, our own Mark Roberts but what I am saying is, that you shouldnt always right a player off because of the club he is at, occasionally players do get missed.
Thought I might buy a new barbecue. Sort my music room out and get a tan. Though not sure the tan is realistic...
What about angus mcdonald? Marc roberts? Or even Geoff horsefield just a few exeptions off top of my head
How about Conor Mcaleny? out of contract at Everton this summer, only 24 and has scored 10 in 18 games for Oxford in League 1
Article on line claiming that Ipswich, Fulham and Barnsley are set to miss out on signing our former loanee Kadeem Harris. It has been claimed that the winger who has four goals and four assists in 27 games under Colin at Cardiff will sign a contract out to 2019 with the Bluebirds. Have to say wasn't overly impressed with his spell with us. He looked to have pace but seemed to struggle to get past his marker to enable him to get any quality crosses into the box.!
Some suggestions circulating around possible additions viz: Defenders- Ola Aina- Chelsea age 20 ( season long loan), Michael Ihiekwe- Tranmere age 24, Josh Morris - Scunny age 25. Midfielders- Cameron McGeehan - Luton age 22 and Conor Chaplin- Portsmouth age 20. Forwards- Matt Godden- Stevenage age 25, Lee Gregory - Millwall age 28 and Dan Druff- Ayr .!
Hes not a big striker who we could use to get the better out of Bradshaw, but Nicky Ajose at newly relegated Swindon knows where the net is and his name has been mentioned. Or is he only on loan to them from Lg One Charlton ?
Ohh ok, and maybe hes not the sort we need anyway as hes more about speed than height. I will give another mention though to James Vaughan, Im sure he will be on the radar because he has played and scored in this league before.
Thank god! Even a half fit T** K*****y on a booking was comfortable against him in the plant pot game at Rochdale. Always reminded me of the phrase 'couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo' because he was the exception that proved the rule. As you point out, he could never get away from his marker and so whether it be cross or shot he always seemed to hit the defender's arse.
