To distract me from watching Wednesday taking Cardiff apart, thought I'd find out the Top 8's remaining fixtures. Attached to this as a pdf file. Screen shot below:-
Win 3 of those 6 and I think we'd be incredibly unlucky not the make the play offs on a minimum of 77 points.
I'm not sure posting this remaining fixture list helps too much. At this time of the season some teams start playing for their lives (and wages). Others start playing with the freedom of knowing that they can experiment, and introduce players with something to prove who turn out to be better than the ones who they can trust. It's down to us. Our players. Not who we play. Today was magnificent, in that we beat them fair and square.
It does help mate. Because it just shows you in a really easy visual who everyone is playing and when. Rather than just lists of games and it's exactly as Sky Sports would do for a title run in. You don't have to take it and make predictions. No football fan is ever not aware of the games going on around the team they support.
I didn't comment on anything like that though? Was just sharing something that made it easy to see all the games in one view. After the teams we beat under Flicker I think it's almost impossible to predict results in the business end of the season. Even more so behind closed doors. How do you get motivated when you don't even have fans in the ground to play for? Assuming your season is done and dusted. One week a team will be on it the next they'll be super flat.
It's this Gandulph 7.9% coming out of this thing they call a sub. Had it for 18 months and my tip is never to buy one cos all you get is froth. (this may all sound like a foreign language) Stick to cans and bottles The night is young.
After the over indulgences at the weekend I'm sticking to cups of tea. The night is too young right now. I was Double Punked on Friday and haven't recovered.
We get Easter Tuesday off too I'd swop anything for this fooking firewater, including Double Punk. All that's left are wine or shorts. Well... we did win.........
I think we’ll need 3 wins and a draw. The levels of the teams in mid table seems pretty poor this season, so the top 7 are getting more points.
Just got to hang in there no such thing as a bad point now. I'd take a point v both Preston and Coventry if offered now.
Preston should have nothing to play for, so should be a game we target to win. If Coventry have a decent week, and Rotherham a bad one, they might feel more comfortable when we play them as well. Can't see us beating Boro, given our home form, so need to beat three out of Coventry, Rotherham, Preston, Huddersfield and Norwich.
