have you just done something Gally? i just clicked on the forum and everything went a bit weird and now its very quick!!
I archived the posts older than 30 days into the archive forum which can help with performance. Need to have a look to see what else I can do to sort it out. Just on a train at the moment but will have a look tonight/tomorrow.
Is it shared hosting or VPS or a dedicated server? Could be bandwidth from a shared hosting with someone on the same rack as you..if it's a dedicated server it's probably PHP or Apache which needs looking at. If it's a VPS could be someone else using Processor as its shared and results in poor performance
Actually seems OK at the minute, although it is late on a school night, but I've hardly been on lately as it's been particularly slow through Tapatalk - judging by what seems like quite a low number of posts over the last week or so I'm guessing other people have been equally frustrated. I'm not complaining though Paul, I've been a web server admin in the past and although I've never looked after a busy forum I know how much processing power and RAM (and therefore money) you need to throw at a forum to keep it running smoothly and I'm sure every regular on here is very grateful that you haven't done what a lot of other forums have done and either charged a subscription or littered the place with Google Adsense.
