Never gonna get off the field, got beached parking and could only go backwards to get out the way.

Me and a couple of others just wheel spinning, unless it freezes solid I’ll never get off.

Any ideas? I’ve no cardboard or owt in the car.

Wouldn’t mind but the lad said it was fine to park on.

If a few are in the same boat you'l have to push each other out

I had similar some years ago. All I did was remove the floor covering over the spare wheel
in the boot ( Ford Mondeo) and put it under the back wheel to get traction.
Took me ages to scrub all the crap off it, but it got me going.

Head down to Burrows and ask to borrow a Sorrento to pull you off.

Sounds like there are some others in the same boat. The Sorrento has 4wd capabilities, plus Burrows have sponsorship up at Oakwell, they might even supply the driver.

Well I’m stuck, everyone’s left and the riding school can’t help.

Apparently as I’m broken down the AA don’t cover it.

    Nice!!

    Long afternoon awaits I reckon

Walk into tarn and buy something to put down to gain some traction.

Ride home on one of the horses, then come back for car next week when the weather fairs up.
    Sorted.

Dismantle the car, carry it home piece by piece on the bus and then reassemble it at home.

    Or

    Phone a friend with a 4x4.

That one reminds me of the 'Top Tips' page from Viz, with belters such as, 'Save money on expensive car number plates by simply changing your name by deed poll to match your existing registration plate. From Mr T418 KME, Newcastle'

Thanks to the power of the bbs I was rescued.

I’ll do a separate thanks but needless to say I’m very grateful.
