Geraint Thomas - either his original or updated (Tour win) autobiography. Interesting and hilarious in equal measure. Chris Evans. Either Call the Midlife or Diary of a fruitcake. Love him or loathe him he's certainly crammed a lot into his 53 years. Oh, and get well soon.
If you can get hold of it. The John Otway autobiography is a lesson in how not to be a rock star. Very funny in a self-depreciating way.
I’ve recommended this book s fair few times on here over the years so and a lot have said the same as you . Great read and a story that was gonna be turned into a film with consultants hired etc but was pulled for reasons I’ve forgotten. Ernest was a great guy and never let this slip even to family until that holiday in Greece .
Ps If you liked Ricky Tomlinson’s auto then you’ll love Frank Skinners . Let’s say he liked a drink lol
Just the greatest series of books ever. If you don’t fancy reading them the audio books with Patrick Tull just bring the story to life
