"Denying little kiddies something to eat" is very emotive and the last time I looked I did not see any legislation being passed to prevent feeding of minors. Incidentally (and I hate to resort to using this) but I find the gutter press and media hyperbole referencing 'children starving in UK "quite offensive.. If you need to be reminded of what a starving child looks like" (and I have never seen one in the UK since the welfare State came into being), Here is a picture of one.
So you can't then. No problems. I don't have cohorts. There's just a fair few people than think Sunak is a bellend - see links in this thread, and sourced articles. I don't need to repeat them. The primary piece of evidence being that he voted against Free School Meals. Exhibit A in his bellendness. As is anyone that voted against Free School Meals. All 321 (I think) of them. It doesn't matter what party they're from - if they vote against that, then they're a bellend. If it so happens that the lads and lasses with the blue rosette fall into that category, then they're all bellends. There's also so many issues with his furlough scheme that cause pain and hardship to others - as already stated in this thread. The fact that you have once again sidestepped, deflected and denied, proves that you have nothing to defend him with. Nothing.
Malnutrition is happening in this country unfortunately and too many children are going through their childhood hungry. I do agree however, that we are fortunate to have been born in this country but we need to protect the welfare state.
Christ on a bike. A new low that - even for you. One does not affect the other. Just because plenty of decent folk want free school meals to continue in school holidays doesn't mean we don't care about poor souls like the one you've just posted (I've removed it in my quote - nobody wants to see it again I'm sure). I though All Lives Matter to you lot? Or doesn't that exist any more?
So they need to pass legislation to tell them what is and isn't morale now. Even to use a bit of common sense sometimes I'm done - don't bother replying to me
I think the general perception of the 322 that voted against it is that ALL people living on benefits, with children, drink, smoke, own a 60”TV and an iPhone 12 while their kids starve to pay for these luxuries. In ‘some’ limited instances, that will be true, but, in the main, it simply is not the case.
They've literally voted against Free School Meals this last week. As stated by the post above - you aren't worth the time anymore. Enjoy your day, make sure your mask covers your nose. I'm out.
And of course it's much more important to cut off the tiny number of wrong 'uns than it is to properly care for the much greater number of disadvantaged.
I really don't understand your first point - no, there's no legislation saying kids can't eat, but when asked to vote on enacting legislation to provide meals they voted it down. That is denying kids food, but you already know that regardless of whether you are capable of admitting it to yourself. On the second point, **** me sideways, that's low. Even putting aside the most disgusting example of whataboutery I've ever seen on here there are a couple of obvious issues. Firstly, I specifically searched for reporting of "starving" linked to the story. I found nothing, just articles referencing hungry kids: Secondly, it says a lot about you that in this whole story it's the media's reporting that you find objectionable.
You didn’t hate doing that. You considered it justifiable point scoring. but I’m sure @Jay or someone else that’s worked with children will be along soon to confirm that there are indeed children starving in the U.K. With the best will in the world, a reasonable welfare state, and social services, people do fall through the net. Whilst I read sickening posts from some on here about how generous our welfare state is, there’s plenty of evidence of people committing suicide and dying of malnutrition when the state has failed to give them benefits.
The only reason you havnt seen these images in Britain is because of campaigns such as Rashfords or the Labour Party’s . Thatcher would and tried to starve working people to go back to work defending workers rights and safety . Make no mistake there are elements of the Tory Party that would have no problem seeing those images on the streets of Britain .
Have you ever wondered why you're so universally disliked by people on here? By people who don't know each other off the BBS so hardly a "clique"?
We certainly missed the quick turn of defense into attack element of potts game where 4 strides took him halfway into the oppositions half. I do concede however that it was decent money like moores transfer but unlike pinnocks
He won't be. He and a certain other poster are totally convinced that it must be some BBS witch hunt out to get them and couldn't possibly be the manner in how they interact with others on here that is the problem despite repeatedly rubbing different, unconnected posters up the wrong way. Arrogance at its finest.
