Sadly none of the three will get an actual chance of any game time.

Perhaps not, but it’s still a recognition that things are going well for them and us. Congrats to all our players who have been called up for International duty.

Seems barmy that our 4th choice winger is in the squad for a country that made the last 4 of the Euro’s 16 months ago

Maybe they need a target man?:D

Using the same logic, surely Adam Davies should have been called up by now?

Dunno, hasn't one of our two coaching gurus decreed that he's an inch too short? (oo-er missus)

No, I meant as a target man. Very useful if the keeper gets sent off or injured, or if they decide to play "Goalie When Needed".

Yeah they will all be bench warming. Might as well stay at Oakwell for some rest and light training and getting ready for a tough game against a team we never win at.

Friendly matches, so maybe they will as can't they use an unlimited number of subs if agreed with the opposition?

Just goes to show how short of players Wales are.

With it being 2 friendlies I really hope they give all our players a chance for a change rather than just sticking with what they know. They've just had a failed qualifying campaign so need to try something new. Brookes, Woodburn, Hedges, Isgrove they've got some great young players to try things out

I feel for Ryan a bit with not getting in the team that often because he's done great when playing. I think it's more to do with how well Barnes, Hammill and Isgrove have done that he's not playing rather than him doing badly

Agree, you'd think they'd probably go with the regular players in the first game, away to France (good for our boys to experience the Stade de France regardless) and maybe try some new options out at home to Panama, in the second. Interesting that Wales have been invited to spend the March international break playing in the China Cup (puns probably warranted), where again you'd expect them to be looking to the future.

France game's on BBC One Wales and Panama one on BBC Two Wales for those with them channels on their platform. Watkins also in the squad.
