Great acheivment by him. On his twitter profile he actually has a picture of Gareth Bale, assuming he's his hero or something, can you imagine if Bale had not pulled out? That must be a childhood dream realised!
Glad for him, he is a very good player who I feel should get more starts, but that is only my opinion!
Couldn't be more happier for him. Think we have more Welsh players than Swansea and Cardiff combined and that's without including Davies and Isgrove, who I'm sure will get more call ups. How Watkins has been called up this season is beyond me, that tackle he did at weekend was not from the same Watkins we all knew and loved.
Even Hedges was born in Northampton, seems like we're a hotbed for plastic sheep-******** (create yer own punchlines).
Must be frustrating for Marley was loved here we all wanted him to stay. He wanted to leave last Jan gave it the premiership interest one. Leaves only to be sat warming bench at Norwich getting ten minute cameos. Then gets dropped by Wales and replaced by a barnsley player. Admittedly he has gone to a bigger club in the championship and will be earning more but on a personal level he is hardly playing and has been dropped from.the national squad. Grass isn't always greener
Been reading that the reason Watkins has stood down is through injury. Good news for Ryan though. Fully deserved. Great news that Izzy and Yids are back in training as well.
We are blessed with wingers.... Barnes, Hammill, this lad & Isgrove ... Looks a very good signing. Barnes looks **** hot, so will be rotation, which I reckon is a good thing. Injury or form will give one of the two a run eventually.
Why do you think he was dropped? You don't get called up to a squad and then get dropped out of it (unless you're sent home for disciplinary reasons). The story released said he was injured.
Great to see three of our lads in the same international team. Amusing that none of them were actually born in the country they are representing though
I heard rumours he'd put out feelers in the 80's to see whether Ruud Gullit's granny was born in Cork.
