I hope he gets 20 goals this season to ram those words back down his throat.

First up, the Sunday Mirror’s David
Walker isn’t holding out much hope
for Mido at Barnsley. “That’s got to go
down as the most astonishing, exotic
transfer of the summer – and one
that’s got everybody, including a lot of
    Barnsley fans, shaking their head
thinking: ‘This isn’t going to work, is it?’
Mido has a track record for not being
the fittest guy, being a bit of a lazy so-
    and-so, who disappears when the
going gets tough. Barnsley appear to
be trying to run a very tight financial
ship at the moment and the way they
finished last season, just above the
relegation zone after a terrible run,
you would be thinking of them as
    potential relegation candidates this
year. I fear for Barnsley; I don’t see
Mido transforming their season. A big
    miss.”
