I still have a weakness for Posh Totty. Selena Scott & Princess Di were both in with a shout too, back then. But Hattie Makepeace, everyday & night.. Jenny was nice too.
Did she knit those herself? A tribute from a man who used to be in one of my favourite bands, Felt. He then did Denim & Go-Kart Mozart.
Don’t know the lass, but Terry Miles from Denim, Felt & go Kart is one of my best pals in music. Plays on my solo stuff & records we did with Kusworth. Great keys player, but not much to look at.
Fantastic. I was just sorting through some old CDs to sell / give away & "It Fell off the Back of a Lorry" was one of those. Orange cover digipack. Great tune.
We did an album on Terry’s ancient one inch 8 track at his house in about 1998. Kusworth died a few weeks ago, so I’ve been listening back to the stuff we did. I think Terry was paid £500 for recording & playing. It’s we’ll lo-fi, but his piano is great here, my guitar ain’t bad either..
70s women: The girl with the long dark hair in the helicopter on the rum advert (no idea what she's called) Debbie Harry Wonder Woman Jane Seymour (Live and let die) the blonde girl in hot gossip (looked a bit like my first girlfriend-trust me no coincidence- who broke my heart cos, well.... I was punching way above.... LoL)
No. So no fiver. But at around 13 years old and just maturing I probably thought wtf has Benny got that I don’t? Maybe best not answer that.
My bad, she was an helicopter pilot in live and let die Hot gossip, actually any of them apart from the blokes but the blonde on the right. That's how better the seventies were, today that means Boris.
