Company has collapsed. Will be a disaster for lots of hotels in this country. Relying on large regular bookings. Including staff losing jobs. (2,500)

Looks like they have collapsed because of the virus, and there will be many more I'm afraid, we have seen this government trying to coop with the situation but have made a right balls of it if this is how they handle a crisis we will have more company collapses to come when we leave the E.U. especially without a deal which looks very likely. The only thing in their favour is there is a hell of a lot of gullible people out there that listen to the lies told but believe them the same people that will be hit the hardest.

Thats a real shame, they stepped in and saved a lot of jobs when Thomas Cook went under.

Went in one of their hotels in Devon with the kids- really enjoyed it. Such a shame

They didn’t, the government only stepped in to help people get back.
Thomas Cook with a deficit of £1.7 billion who blamed Brexit and a hot Summer, forgot to mention the fact they never had sufficient Insurance and chose to self insure and significant claims against them as a result.

    I posted yesterday.
Furloughing is merely a Redundancy Deferment Scheme when it comes down to it, just a more expensive but compassionate way of dealing with what, for some, will be inevitable.

Bloody hell, I hadn’t tied National holidays and Wallace Arnold in with Shearings. ( I picked the story up on local media when posted ) Those that manage to survive will reap in all that custom once back to normal.

What happens to the assets (coaches etc when I’m guessing the administrators I assume will struggle to get buyers to pay decent money.) experts welcome to explain please.

I believe their vehicles were on lease so they will be returned to the leasing company.
While ever the social distancing rules are in place coach travel is redundant, although strangely, I beleive National Express are thinking about returning services at 50% passenger capacity.

Coach operators won't be able to return to work until social distancing is relaxed and that could be months away. That's if there's any operators left.

The scrap yard at Shotties island will be chocka.

Then the leasing companies will also be in danger due to the knock on effect i assume. ?
