Just been looking through early tv fixtures and noticed the reds are not on amazing how all the big clubs with money get on tv nearly every game if i remember rightly the reds had just 2 games on sky last season
Do you mean like when we towelled Leeds last season in a high scoring thriller or are you referring to their fans coming into the ponte looking for bother?
Sky/bt are about money. Viewing figures for individual league football matches are not particularly high. Not many people watch bournemouth v southampton, and i would guess sky would prefer not to show such premier league matches at all. Neither have large worldwide followings so there's much less worldwide appeal for selling this product. So imagine the money/selling appeal of barnsley v burton? Leeds however (for ex) do have a large national and significant international following so they are naturally more sell-able. It's all about the money.
As Havana says, yep. Ironic thing is first half the season we were probably in the best 2-3 teams to watch too. The minimum requirement is 2 per team and no doubt that's all we'll get again unless we're involved in last day drama.
We're just ******* sky off in our house. Off to bt for the much better internet and free sports. We only pay 31 quid for everything after ringing up and threatening to leave but that deal ends next month so cithi sky.
Yeah, like when we beat Oxford and Millwall at Wembley, Walsall twice, Fleetwood on penalties when we were far superior, 3-1 against Bradford a couple of years ago and of course the 5-0 at Birmingham.
