' I honestly think it's to make the country money, I am against gay people cos of one experience I had with one, but thats is one person, not all of them.' The single most bizarre post ever.
I'm correct, she doesn't exist. The overwhelming body of evidence is that life as we know it is the result of a large number of iterative steps over a prolonged period of time often called evolution. There is not one single shred of evidence to indicate that life is the result of some all seeing powerful entity making it so. 3 billion people wishing for something does not make it true. Religion has its basis as a means of explaining the unexplainable during times when we didn't have the necessary tools to understand much of what went on arounds us. It's a nice crutch to cling on to, this whole idea of the afterlife, but it is just that, a nice idea.
I don't believe in God. Not at all. Here's a theory though: God started the big bang. Give me a better one.
You're against gay people because of your experience with one of them, but that's just 1 not all. Yet you started you are against gay people, so therefore all of them!
I'm sure the C of E could make a pretty strong case for discrimination though. They're being forced to accept something that their religion (rightly or wrongly), does not approve of. Other religions with thousands upon thousands of practising members are not legally obliged to follow the same rules. It's blurring the lines of discrimination.
But they won't have to, and how will it be discrimination against the Church of England when they don't have to either?
It's blurring the lines between the state and religion which we shouldn't do. They should be separate, as this issue clearly illustrates.
