I didn't go to the game, so fair enough regarding any judgement about the result. My main gripe was that Jacob Brown had 3 easy chances, which is clearly not true.
I wasn't there. Was always the biggest banana skin so far. Robins, 95 years of defeats, no Potts. Looked like a game that was gonna be won by a mistake or a piece of brilliance. Was clearly a mistake, but there looks to be a lot to be positive about. Their keeper made a couple of decent saves. Pleased to see Brown given a chance. He will put those in before long. With Cauley coming in, his chances may be limited for a bit. It's how we bounce back now.
Funny how people watching the same game can have such different opinions, really thought we were poor yesterday and Coventry, in my opinion, missed much easier chances than we did and thoroughly deserved their 3 points without showing much quality. As i’ve said already in this thread though, No need to worry, 46 game season, every team gonna have off days and massively agree with your point that people’s expectations have been raised to unrealistic levels.
well the statistics show us to have been the superior side in all departments.... the commentary backed this up. Your name is quite ironic really innit....... STATTO
Depends on what you class as poor really. I agree we were poor with our final ball and set pieces, and also tried to play football in precarious places, but overall we were always in the game. I associate poor with some of the performances from last season, when we conceded and it was game over. Yesterday's poor was more akin to the parts of games this season when we've struggled to get going (some of those games we've won, or could have won) I won't lose any sleep over yesterday against one of our biggest hoodoo clubs. Last two times I went we conceded 8!
