SO now the season is over let's kick off a discussion with a bit of controversy...

Neither if the following statements come from me so don't shoot the messesnger....

"The overuse of the word 'vile' is often due to people with the inability to clearly articulate their viewpoint during a debate or argument as an attempt to silence the opposition ".

"The word 'vile' is often used used by people it to express their dislike of another person when they cannot articulate/evidence exactly why they dislike that person."

Personally, I only partially agree with those statement as , although it is overused, particularly by some on thi BB, a few who do use it seem to be articulate whilst others seem to resort to using it at the earliest opportunity.. I do believe though that it has become a much overused word.
