Sadly for Marley he's not Premiership quality. If they go up he would be moved on IMO.
Same applies to our former centre forward at S6 and Josh Scowen.
Honest toilers at Championship level at best I feel.

Wouldn't get the chance to run at some of the top defenders in the Premiership like they
have done whilst they were with us re- Hammill at Wolves. Rarely got a game.!!
Will Bree will struggle at Villa. ? Some round me at the 'Well thought he was OK at going forward but not as good when it came to defending. Discuss.?

It's just annoying that we can't keep hold of decent, 7/10 championship players any more

He's gone for more money, just like the rest of them. Anyone who doesn't believe or understand that is ignorant.

Translated.... Norwich made me an offer way over what anyone else was willing to, and seeing as I didn't have an offer from a premier league club, I snatched their hands off.

Good luck to the lad. Of course he wasn't picked from our tree as he wasn't our player anymore.

Will be interesting to see how he goes on or even which position he occupies.

I always liked him, but more for his energy and willingness than for being a standout footballer.

Now he's definitely gone, we're woefully short of songs.

Sammy the snake and Conor's departures left us light in the song department, and now Marley Watkins baby has gone we've only got Hammill left!

He was quite critical of BFC for breaking up a potentially successful team.

Was inevitable he'd move on. Can't see him getting a lot of game time at Norwich though. Good luck to him, he's earned his payday.

I can see only Bree and Hourihane moving in an upward trajectory from where they are now.

    Probably right.

Villa will be in the top six next season with Hourihane playing a big part and Bree playing his fair share.

Wednesday will also be challenging for a play off spot but Winnall will be the bit part player he has been since joining from us and will be more than likely shipped off in January.

I think Norwich will underachieve massively next season. They've got a lot of deadwood at the club at the moment and despite them hoping Farke will be the new Wagner, he's more than likely not gonna be as they'll be a new phase next season (hopefully young English managers from their boyhood clubs).

Yes, I saw he was critical that we weren't prepared to bankrupt ourselves. Disappointing comments from him generally. Seems more selfish than I thought.

Think a lot of sour grapes there sadly.

Just like a quite a few fans are critical, but neither Watkins or they have to make the decisions.

Well, it's a "good luck Marley" from me. Always gave 100%, great player for us, and a personal favourite, I wont be joining in the 'well he'll never make the prem' crowd. Maybe he will, maybe he wont, but good luck to the lad. Same goes for Josh when the time comes.

We all move on, part and parcel of being a fan. I'm genuinely excited to see Hecky build his own team. PH leaving would be the news news that would sadden me.

Gave 110% did not cement a regular starting position for us. A player any defender would hate playing, as he pushed the rules of the game to the limit. Just can't see him start more than 10 games for norwich. H

This he wanted a move in january for more money as he saw the rest of his pals triple their wages. We weren't safe and the club didn't want us in a relegation scrap like what happened to forest when they sold lansbury. The premiership club excuse was just to keep the fans sweet until the end of season if you belive that you are naive.
