Why do people continue to avoid walking too close to other people by stepping into busy roads? Yes keeping 2m apart is a sensible precaution. But not at the risk of being hit and killed by car. People are so scared of each other they are simply stepping into roads without looking. Is it just me noticing this?
Yeah I don't bother and I don't wear a mask outdoors either. You get some strange looks when you don't step out into the road for people. The people that really make me laugh are the ones that wear masks alone in their own cars. Sumat strange going on there. Maybe doggers, who knows?
I was in the supermarket the other day and whilst queueing in the one way system, I was at the top of the aisle i.e next to be served at the checkout and then saw two women walking towards me. They stopped (about 1 meter away) then just looked up at me as if to say "move out of the way". The queue is down that aisle luv, I politely said and pointed, but they just stood there looking up at me. ffs luv the queue is down there..... total ignorance
Or maybe people who are going from one place to another and dont want to touch their mask in between? I think also some people just put their mask on before leaving home whilst they know they have clean hands and dont take it off again until they are home and have washed their hands again Must admit I dont though I do leave a mask on if walking between shops
If I've got to call at two shops, I leave my mask on when travelling between them. You aren't supposed to touch your mask when it's on, let alone keep taking it on and off.
It's not so prevalent now as it was a few months ago but some are still doing it. I just walk along the pavement like a normal human being. If we pass within a foot or two so what? Time to stop being so damn paranoid about all this. I never wear a mask except where I am forced to, ie in a shop. It is ripped off as soon as I am at the door way on the way out.
Wear a badge saying I Have Covid and I’m absolutely sure no one will come anywhere near you. Problem solved.
