    I am happy to accept that you believe that everything the club’s owners do is in the best interests of the club. I am sure you also accept that people make mistakes. For my part, I am happy to accept that they may well be acting in a way that they believe is in the best interests of the football club (which may or may not coincide with the aspirations of many of its supporters). I also sincerely believe that they have made lots of mistakes. The sale of Pinnock and his replacement by untried kids being one of the more glaring examples. I also accept that we are never going to agree, and I’m more than happy with that.

    RedRain, I don’t want to sound rude but anybody with any football eyes could see what Pinnock was worth and it was far more than we got. Nobody knows though what clauses were there or what any other factors were that arrived at what we got for him.
