Some views expressed at the time of the takeover

I've been waiting for it to collapse now for years.

Each year some new way of avoiding Armageddon arises.

This time it's sell the stadium. You obviously can only do that once (I think anyway)

Next year it will be something else.

I just think whatever happens in the future it will (the overspenders if you like) will find imaginative ways to continue doing just that.
