We are looking at that market. It's been quite well publicised that were looking overseas, primarily France.

It takes time. We'd all love for us to sign 14 players by the end of May and have them all bedding in over the summer, but it doesn't work like that.

The club know the areas where we need to strengthen and they're trying to bring players in. Give the guy a break for once.

Exactly, he likes to have views different to most people.

I've noticed and plenty others have too, he always target the most popular players usually, and now it's our manager.

Having thought about this I think we should all tread cautiously with him - he's obviously incapable of empathising - Hecky made a throw away comment about no phone and HT can't let that go - he's taken it so literally that it's clouded his judgement. I'm sure smarter people than me will be able to diagnose, but in my experience people who are like that cannot be reasoned with - and it's not totally their fault, they just don't have the emotional intelligence to read situations and understand 'the other side' to an argument or an alternative point of view, even if they continue to disagree with it. I genuinely worry with some of the more personal jibes made at him (despite those he's made in the past towards BFC staff/players he didn't like) that he'll take them to heart and then we're into the realms of something more serious. For that reason I'm not engaging with him anymore as I worry about the consequences for HT's physical and mental well being when it gets feisty on here.

It's that or he's just one of those that won't ever admit to being wrong/misreading something, but I'm taking the safety first option.

I'm with you on this. I'd previously resolved not to respond to him anymore but he riled me up so I did so. I won't be doing it again.

Now, please don't tae this as an insult, but the answer to this question may explain how you view the world. But do you suffer from any forms Autism or Asbugers at any level? I only ask as I have a family member that suffers from a fairly mild level of Autism and he too struggles to change the way he thinks once an opinion has been formed.

Again, I'm not insulting you, but your way of thinking does sound familiar...

Yeah. If Mcgeehan isn't 2.5x as good as Mahrez it's conclusive proof Hecky is ****.

But does your family member acknowledge they are wrong when presented with cold hard facts proving them wrong? I'm not talking about opinions I'm talking about facts.

Him: Tom cruise is good in speed
You: that's keanu reeves. *Shows proof on IMDB*

Would he at that point accept that he got a fact wrong or would he pretend you hadn't said anything and refuse to listen to you?

    Genuine question by the way

@Gally this is the point I was trying to make. Not just me.

He does add variety and keeps the board busy but ......... Tough call.

Maybe just delete his fishing threads at source?

You're baulking at £1m for a reet laiker, but would have happily spent 5x that on Tammy?

Also, for every bargain basement Mahrez that comes good, there are 10x multi-million foreign nobodies who fail and crawl back home for a fraction. Whilst British talent rots in PL U19 squads.

In all honesty, yes he does. It can be infuriating as well, but you have to humour him sometimes...

There really is a lot of similarities between him and Hemmsy's online persona. (As I understand it) neither work, both will sit and just watch different sports all day and both seem to get an (to us) irrational dislike for certain things and people. So I just thought to myself, Hemmsy might have a few medical personality disorders(is that what Autism/Asbegers are classed as?), or he's just an awkward git who just want's to show that his judgement is superior to others...

Makes sense, and if it is indeed true then I feel a bit of an arse for the way I've responded to him in the past...

On the other hand, the much more relevant recent transfer from Ligue 2 club Le Havre (Mahrez's old club) to England was striker Lys Mousset, who cost £5.5m (gasp) and managed the princely total of 0 goals in 11 games. Thank **** we're not gambling our club's future in this market.

Just for clarity - I personally don't want him (or anyone else) banning or owt daft just because I might not agree with what they're saying, but think we all have a duty of care. And I've called him names in the past so this isn't a holier than thou thing.

Yep, I was harsh to him in past few years but once I got told I stopped, I might respond to his posts but only disagree with him
