Take away the horrific start we had yesterday and look at these stats.

Really fine margins due to that lack of quality where it counts.

All those shots on and off target and only one goal to show for it.

No doubt that Hogan was a key difference. Their first goal was an excellent finish I doubt Bradshaw or Moore would have scored it. Their 3rd was a great finish as well we almost always miss those sorts of chances. Lucky we are playing Fulham next whose strikers are clearly misfiring.

I think they really let off in the second half to kind of “allow” us those stats. Although if we’d have scored either the Moore, Bradshaw or Thiam chance we could’ve made it nervy for them.

Back to 4-4-2 next week against Fulham with Gardner protecting the back 4 and hopefully we’ll have a defensive performance like the Wolves game rather than yesterday.

Nail.head. Lack of quality when it matters.

Still, we can only pay £500k to £1 million for strikers.

Our inability to take chances will see us relegated.

We did play better second half but Villa were content to sit off and became sloppy. We just didn't do the right thing once we got to their box. Exactly the same as the last God knows how many games. We just cannot put the ball in the net other than once every other game.
