Why would they even consider an unproven manager ? They may have just as well chosen to keep Wagner as take a gamble imo . Nah I think they’ll choose experience or someone at least connected to the club
Honestly believe he's totally committed to our cause. Besides that , it sounds as though only Wagner has left his job with the other members of his coaching team staying put. Would Stendel take a job elsewhere without Andreas Winkler and Christopher Stern?. Certain comments I've seen in the press probably indicate, that so long as the Board don't "hack" him off by selling more key players against his wishes, hopefully, he's content to stay put. https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foo...-derailed-by-any-more-january-sales-1-9538557
We'd be mad to see any core players go in this window. I think we are 50/50 for automatic and 100% on for the playoffs. I appreciate players will move on, but the core ones are under contract in the summer & that is when we should review.
I love your optimism but i think , and like any player , if Stendel is offered a better contract elsewhere he'll go . Its the way of the world im afraid .
Absolutely crazy that no one is questioning if a premier league club (even if for however long) would be in for him to begin with. Very odd this place at times.
Although he says he’s not in the running, Sam Allardyce would be my number one target if I was a Huddersfield fan. 6 month contract. No one does it better than he does.
Yep - 1 poster in every 33 at least should think Huddersfield might be in for him. Mine is post number 15 (I think).
Why on EARTH would Huddersfield be interested in a guy who's had half a season at a third division club doing little more than was expected with a squad tipped to challenge? Again anyone putting credence on this needs their head testing.
Goes to Huddersfield knowing they're certainties to be going down so he won't carry the can, takes their money, they go down, he's off, thanks and tarra Mr.Hoyle it's been nice kmowing you. No brainer if you're Big Sam!
Exactly - and he’s probably the best man to keep them up. Keep it tight, stop shipping goals and go direct.
And if does keep them up there’s no doubt he’ll have a huge bonus in his contract for doing so like he somehow managed at Everton even though Hemsworth Tyke could’ve kept them up with the squad they had
