https://salfordcityfc.co.uk/stevie-mallan-signs-300622/ Rubbish for us. Tried but way above his level so him being a journeyman since isn't a surprise.
Journey man? He's been at Hibs and Yeni? A journey man in current times is someone like Kieffer moore who joins club after club after 12/18 months
https://www.soccerbase.com/players/player.sd?player_id=78526 18/05/17 he signed for us so he's had four clubs in five years. Technically five in five because he spent some of 2017 elsewhere.
He was at St Mirrens for 3 years professionally, then us for a year, who it didnt work out with, so he moved back up North to Hibs for 3 years, went out on loan the 3rd year and joined Yeni, then signed permanently for them. He wanted to come and play back at home, which a lot of players do, so he joined Salford. I don't think that's a journyman at all in current times
I wouldn't even say he was rubbish for us. Like a number of players he was just treated poorly, and didn't get a fair chance at all. Was it a game against Millwall where his mistake led to their first goal, and Morais dropped him like a stone. Yeah, he was a really good judge of character wasn't he, Mr Maurinho's ex kit man!.
I'm looking forward to the day you reply to one of these threads and declare the player was a right bell end
He might be a top bloke for all we know! If my likeability was correlated with my footballing ability, I'd probably be the 3rd most unpopular man in the world right now, only saved from the wooden spoon thanks to Boris Johnson and Vladimir Putin being such utter nobbers
Got wiped out by johannson if I I remember correctly. Should have been a red and we were completely in control of a game we then lost.
