Is it Political Correctness gone mad?

Despite there being about 2000 professional footballer players in the U.K. not one of them has come out as 'straight.' I have never heard a player admit to being 'straight.t'

Statistically there must be some 'straight' players out there. Are they all masquerading as gay and hiding their true straight sexuality?

People shouldn't have to hide their true sexuality in this day and age - they should not be frightened of any adverse reaction if they do admit to liking the opposite sex.

I would say to any 'straight' player reading this and pondering whether or not to come out will have a lot of support and understanding form the fans should he decide to come out.

In fact if he can score goals we'll fkn love him for ever!

You know, if it was a choice between political correctness gone mad or being influenced by religion of any description....I'd take the former every time.

The 1950s are alive and well on this board. When people whinge about media outlets portraying people from Barnsley as ‘backwards’ reading this they are probably over kind to us.
