https://www.eticketing.co.uk/barnsleyfc/details/event.aspx?itemref=2014 More successful than we anticipated or administrative **** up....one for Supertyke to vent his spleen on.
I got the 'Sorry' message four times, then eventually it let me get further and there were four lots of tickets in my basket!
My mates trying to book one says at the bottom they are sold out or no longer available both of which seem unlikely.
He's given up and will call the box office tomorrow. Still not good promoting an offer they then can't deliver correctly. If you didn't know better you might think they had actually sold out.
Why don't the club just have a scaleable discount on bulk buys. This way people buy what they can afford, plan for games they know they can make and get a discount based on how many. This could still equate to a free ticket at 6 etc etc. Allows season ticket benefits to be maintained. Simple and not much admin needed to handle it. Also saves people visiting box office often, seats chosen at time of booking etc etc. Simples!
Just had my April rota through at work - can make five of the last six! Unbelievable scenes, Jeff. Could save £2 by swapping my Southend ticket for a Super 6, but those two Tuesday games are always a bit hit & miss as to whether I'd get away in time for k/o. Offer me a flexi-ticket, Ben - five games for £100 and the money's yours.
Would have been better cutting the match day prices to £20 adults all areas for the rest of the season.
Just took them up on the offer. Myself and son. Mates also got one ealier this afternoon. Costing me a fortune this upturn in form.
