Be interesting to see if anyone returns from injury now Collins has departed.

Very attacking team little width. I just want to see us attack teams from the off.

He's had plenty of look ins, don't think his absence is down to Collins, more his own application and ability.

Done just as much as Cosgrove has this season. Maybe not a high standard to set but had a more impact than Cosgrove and Marsh. I agree, his application hasn’t been great but I could pick on many who are fans favourites.

Completely disagree. I think Cosgrove has definitely impacted games more than Watters, especially outside of actually scoring. I do hope Watters turns it around because his goal scoring record at thus level and below is very decent. When he does get involved he can be absolutely rapid as well, but we rarely see it.

In general about Cosgrove I think majority of fans have been underwhelmed, but again, hopefully he can turn it around, I just think its a little unfair to say he's barely made an impact

This thread highlights what little options Collins had to change things up……

Whoever is in charge we’ve got 4 more training sessions (I’m assuming Devaney has taken training today) so how much change can realistically happen? I imagine we will play the same formation and same personnel.

    Roberts currently looks a liability.
Cadden, Williams and Cole look like they're going through the motions.
McCart can't be trusted in a back four.
O'Keeffe and McAtee are both p*ss weak in the tackle and lose the ball too often.

Assuming, Connell and Russell are still injured then this is the batshit crazy 11 for Saturday:

    KIllip

    Cotter, James, de Gevigney, Earl

    Philips, Yoganathan, Kane

    Jalo, Cosgrove, Marsh

Would be tempted to swap Cosgrove for McAtee if we wanted to play a press from the off.

You've got my number Martin if you want to discuss

I think we'd need the number of the Samaritans if we played that team :D

    I’d go 4-2-3-1.

    ………………..Roberts

    Williams….MDG….Cundy….Earl

    ……………Kane….Connell

    Phillips………….McAtee………….Cole

    ………………....Cosgrove

-We won’t like, but I’ve got to the point I can’t stand the back 5 anymore. Maybe MD might completely try something new; if Cundy is available I’d play him too. After Saturday I wouldn’t be playing Cadden this season again…
