    It has nothing to do with race, so I'm guessing there's your answer :)

    Maybe they have replaced their tried and tested favorites with loads of young inexperienced lines to tempt the customer....
    you know two not quite ready items for every shelf, which may be good in 18 months time but will eventually make a profit. Even though all the competitors have have better!!!

    It’s to do with the Wall Street crash when the grey suited money men threw themselves out of tower blocks in New York - listen to the Steely Dan song. As far as I know black looks has nothing to do with race either, it’s a reference to the devil.

    Close, it’s actually down to two investors pushing the price of gold up, causing stock market to shut down to foreign investors in late 1800’s and American farmers losing up to 50% on their crops.
    American cops also adopted it in 50’s due to amount of accidents at Thanks giving due to increased traffic
