How did it give you hope? Next season we will have a different head coach and very few of the players on the pitch tonight. It will be close to a completely brand new set up on and off the pitch.
That's it. We might do brilliant next season or might do rubbish. But what happened tonight can't give confidence going in to the next season when very few people on or off the pitch will still be here.
Pre match there was sod all hope. Performances from Cosgrove, Phillips, Connell give us something to pin hope on. Also Grant if we can sign him. If Helen feels a sense of hope, let her have it! I feel alot more hopeful than i did at 8pm!
They'll be along in a minute to tell you we're selling Connell and Phillips, plus Grant won't sign for us so it's down to 3. Just wait, even in rare positive moments we can't have it for long.
The squad is a cracking squad. It's the contract issues that's done Collins and us in the end. I wasn't shocked in the slightest and accused of conspiracy theories when I said Collins was dropping the four amigos because their hearts and minds weren't in it.
I feel the same, just a k frin Bolton and proud of that effort and with a decent manager and a good core of players, who knows!?
I agree there uncle Helen lol. This has cheered me up tonight (can't you tell!), and it does give me more confidence than I had, before these two Bolton matches. Now then, it's going to be a tough and very important summer/pre season for us, yet again. Some massive decisions have got to be made, before the August kick off.
No daft changes needed. Just coherent, pragmatic leadership. There's loads to be positive about. 4 players have sabotaged our season downing tools. They shouldn't have been allowed to. That's the problem. Leadership at the top.
Well said, Helen. There's a few who will gleefully rain on your parade, but I love and agree with your optimism.
