is that although I would love BFC to do well and get promoted etc...... I don't give a monkeys if we lose every game from now until the end of time. It is not my soul reason for existence and in the pecking order of life BFC are mid table at best. My children, family and friends are top and the rest fade away badly. BFC may be on a par with my job, but that's only cos I have to earn a crust. If I was already financially sufficient, then work would be rock bottom! So on a day when thereev has spent the day with the bin lids, nailed 4 away wins on the coupon and generally had a good day, Barnsley losing will not spoil the rest of the day one jot. So my seasonal message to those that live and breathe BFC is....chillax....Barnsley losing dunt mean fek all really. Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year folks!
I have to agree reev although today has hurt more than usual but only because I'd have won £725 had we won.
aye its not a matter of life and death but we all need a hobby and a man can only spend so much time ****ing...
not bothered so much that you spend Boxing Day on here, and post more than most. If you had a decent job you might get some satisfaction.
I have a decent job thanks.....don't get millions, but far from the minimum wage either, for your info. As for job satisfaction, don't get much in this particular job but it currently pays better than my teaching quails. would get me for now. However when I get a better paid offer, I will take it, simple as that.... the predominant factor re work for me is money, sad tho that is. you carry on wanting Danny out and some clown in, making burgers etc, or whatever you dear chap. hth
I never back Tarn....****in Leeds did me for 566 quid today against Wigan...I don't usually back Leeds but Wigan are that bad I thought....Well...Bugger.
Agree with the outlook on work, Mr Reev. Never, ever let yourself be defined by it. Much as I enjoyed working with some great people, some of whom inhabit on here, I was never in doubt that it would spit me out, eventually. And happier and more fulfilled I am for that parting! Don't know whether Lady Kaht totally shares that view though!
Work to live, not live to work. One of my mottos. It pays the bills, that's it. Would love to be in a position not to bother.
I made a rule last season to never back them again. For some reason I broke my rule today and I don't know why.
Work pays the bills - family first in my book always. Football isn't my life either - far more important things!
