    Yep I was disappointed that Labour were against A change. I voted for but seem to remember thinking the proposal overly complicated.
    Public didn’t give a **** either did they? I seem to remember a very low turnout. Missed opportunity in my book. I’d accept the odd BNP nutter if it allowed all to have a meaningful vote.

    Sadly, it was a hugely cynical but successful tory ploy to make the public kick the LibDems.

    Electoral reform was the one thing the Lib Dems stood for. They had their opportunity to push it through and blew it when Clegg decided being deputy pm was good fun!

    thats not strictly right, I’ll gladly suggest the libdems were naive, but the period since coalition suggests they were a more successful handbrake than Jonathan greening managed

    I may well do just that when it comes to it. I can’t see any alternative at the moment. Not one. I’ll carry on listening to the promises that the others are incapable of delivering until then, maybe something will peek my interest.
