Saw Dean Wareham in Leeds a couple of years ago playing a Galaxie 500 set. Very good.

    Sorry, just watching Derek.

Main ones would be Suicide Blonde from Birmingham, the Bounty Hunters/Dave Kusworth (I joined after the Creation LPs) did a couple of records, lots of touring. Played with Nikki Sudden a bit and Kevin Junior, when he lived in the Uk, played on his first Chamber Strings LP. Then had my own band Sunshower before just going under my name, have two albums done but not released. Other bits and pieces, did some good stuff with my friend Marie Therese but not sure what happened to that, Also some demos for Siobhan from Banarama/Shakespeare's Sister, nutter bird.

Those are the ones I care to remember.... :)

    Some good stuff there.

    I'd go for:-

    Kyuss
    Metallica
    Alice In Chains
    Shadows Fall
    Morbid Angel
    Cynic
    Atheist
    Megadeth (up to 1994)
    Suffocation

Without doubt all the best bands are American.

Not so sure about that mate. What about Pink Floyd AC/DC Sabbath Led Zep Def Leppard All really good bands.

Agree with some of your choices. Out of your list I have Metallica Alice in chains Shadows Fall and Megadeth.

    All just opinions though eh!

I thought about including Megadeth - like you say, prior to 1994, preferred them to Metallica so would have to include them
