Sorry, but you’re talking rubbish throughout the thread.

I get that - it just seems weird that someone else - overseas - in the same job can do it.

If you've got a car and it needs servicing - you don't send it to another mechanic in Tunisia to do the job that you're both trained to do.

Plus you couldn't service your own car these days - they've made it too technical!

I wouldn’t put any more thought into it, simply because the guy or girl is coming to us anyway. I do agree with you that it’d be strange if it was a long-term setup, but it’s not.

I’d guess the new person will know JM anyway, so they probably know how each other work, which makes it easier to do ‘remotely’.

It’s also fair to say, technology also makes this more possible than it used to.

I'm sure we need someone to do this kind of job at the club and welcome it.

It was the suggestion that some sort of credit for today's performance could be attributed to him that needled me.

I'm all for anyone who makes a difference.

    Thanks.

    Stick to the script please.

I know some people like to make it personal, but if you have an issue with what's been said in discussion, then please take issue with the argument rather than the person.

It’s a team effort - the players and staff. So the person mentioned can and should take some credit - but no more or no less than usual, because they are just one spoke that builds the wheel. The same should also apply when we lose too though.

    Win together - Lose together.

So the club gave him a job to do as part of the prep for today’s game but he should be given no credit for this?

I thought people would be interested that despite Hecky taking Bailey, someone is now doing the job without stretching the responsibilities of current staff.

To quote you with the same respect you afforded me:

So to cut through the crap Birmingham have been scouted for us by a head coach in Portugal because he has more time available to work as a scout than our head coach in England. Right then moving on

Cracking thread. RAC in toe to toe in nonsense with TBONTB. RAC opens with glory post. TBONTB is totally confused and shows his advancing years. Neither puts a glove on each other as they aren’t actually talking about the same things. Other posters try to make sense and post reasonable arguments that are either ignored or misconstrued.

Redarmychris - keep up the good work on this forum. Easier just not to respond to the argumentative elements here, but ultimately that's up to you. Appreciate the info, thanks.
