One million pounds. Produced one scuffed penalty and never got fit. Worst pound for pound signing ever?
Add potts, moore, mcgeehan, mallan, knasmuller, cavare..... How much do you reckon we shelled out for all those! The board and hecky made a right mess of it. Bizarrely one gets a new job on alot more money and whoever else is involved is presumably still involved at the club.
Every player bar McBurnie and Yids have been appalling... To single 1 player out as the worst is like comparing strains of genital herpes.
Poor touch, cant finish his dinner and never will be a championship striker.... Good job were in league one
Sorry but yids has been shocking all season, good riddance. Not captain material and he will be found out next season wherever he ends up I pray he doesn't stay here
As a goalscorer he is abject but he does have some strengths in his game. Certainly not good enough for the championship though.
Yids wa He was poor today as the stats will tell you. He is not as good as most fans or he himself believe.
I don’t think Yiadom has had a great season but he’s still been amongst our best players. But not so amazing that we’ll miss him hugely like we have Hourihane, winnall, Scowen, roberts. Get McCarthy in the side every week and we’ll be fine at right back, fryers might even be ok in the ale house league on the other side. Wouldn’t shed many tears if fryers was snapped up by someone else though I’ll admit.
What I’ve seen of Moore he works hard just missed too many easy chances, it should’ve been a shipperley and dyer combination, Moore to hold ball up and mcburnie to run on to
He's no Neil Shipperley. He's probably better in the air than Ships. Shipperley was a great footballer in every sense. He'll be useful in L1. That is probably his level. Same for a lot of our players.
Strange, because he was scoring for fun in League 1, where as far as I'm aware the goals are exactly the same size. I think he'll do well for us next season, will be a key player if used correctly.
The standard of defending and positional play is vastly superior in this league, plus a striker gets less time on the ball and most importantly a striker may only get a couple of chances in a game. I tend to agree with you though that he could be a key player next season as he's shown he is capable at that level.
