Got to admit I didnt know that, however thats 2,000 children while our men fought, our women worked to support the war effort. We currently have over 11,000 men, women and children with no end in sight and plans to double that amount.

They could call one of the many organisations out there designed to help them.

We have google - easy enough to find. There was no end in sight in World War 2 - there were also another 24,000 registered to go as well. Love the way we helped unbalance the whole area over there and expect no consequences and yes I do agree people in this country should come first but I blame our own government for their actions rather than these 11,000. I'm sure given the choice they'd rather be in their own country

Not quite sure what that has to do with it. Are you insinuating that had we been invaded the men and women would have fled? The government would have, to continue the fight from abroad but even if the average British man wanted to, there wouldnt have been the time or resources to evacuate. The fight would have continued.

Yes, you go fight to protect this country, watch your friend get blown up by an I.E.D but when you come home dont expect any further help than speaking to someone on the phone. Give me strength.

When was the last time that anyone member of the British armed forces got blown up by an IED whilst protecting this country?

One sec I’ll just log onto my Ministry of Defence profile.

You do realise PTSD can develop long after the even dont you?

Yes I agree but while we still see and hear of so many of our ex servicemen/women being on the streets with no help then they should be our priority. Sort your own problems out first before taking on the problems of others.

You know if my argument was being so easily shown up like yours, I’d probably play the racist card too.

We tend to cause a lot of PTSD in our soldiers because we are playing world police and going out there 'taking on the problems of others'. Or invading countries as some people would call it.

Actually I would agree with that. Not sure which country weve invaded recently that caused a huge influx of refugees mind, Iraq was nearly 20 years ago and I dont remember them arriving here in the droves the Syrians have.
