    We've spent almost two million quid on kpekawa mcgeehan and mowatt to not play a dozen games between them plus thiam potts moncur another two million and we keep saying were skint. Money wasted in my opinion in hindsight of course.

    Transfers will always be hit and miss. Sometimes you'll find a gem for a bargain, next time you spend a bit more and it turns out to be a dud. It happens at any club.

    And this was my point. Hecky hasn't really unearthed any gem's yet in terms of permanent signings but he is certainly a talented coach who is great at development of young players. Without doubt though, Johnson and Wisons signings were much better.
