There’s a pub that serves food near us that has signs saying you’re only allowed to use the table for an hour and a half. Not just since Covid (I haven’t been in since) but always. It has a play area attached too so you’d think that would make the meal last longer. I’ve been with mates and their toddlers a few times and it’s a mad dash at the end. It can take them 45 mins to leave after the idea has first been broached what with toilet trips, tidying up etc.
If a task force was set up to come up with the most ridiculously stupid rules, they couldn,t compete with these clowns, they are an absolute embarrassment...
Be patient because if we flatten the virus in the next three weeks to protect the NHS we should be fine.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/...itain-Ill-voting-AGAINST-new-Tier-system.html Brilliant piece. It's lovely seeing so many MPs not happy with Boris and his draconian measures that have gone on far too long.
Is Loris doing sign language cos he using them handa as much as the guy at the side who is signing. No matter how many times he thumps the lectern, interlocks his fingers and waves his arms about he still has feckin little to say of any use.
Just been announced, over the five day festive Covid rules relaxation period, big brother says no singing, no dancing, no embracing and no board games. Even though it's not going to feel much like a normal Christmas this year, I'm still looking forward to touching elbows with my darling wife under the mistletoe on Xmas eve. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...id-singing-dancing-BOARD-GAMES-Christmas.html
The vaccination programme is expected to start on December 7th. By the end of January cases will be so low Boris will find it even harder to justify keeping restrictions until April.
Let's hope that's how it pans out. Fingers crossed that the Oxford/Astra Zeneca vaccine passes the upcoming verification tests it's about to be subjected to and that widespread training can be given to get the immunisation project on track to protect as many of our citizens as possible. After all this time, it will feel really strange to be able to wander about without the fear of contracting what has proved to be a horrible virus. Fully expect that in the next couple of weeks, Brexit will once again grab the headlines. It would appear that some form of a deal with the European Union has been agreed in principle.
