Ridiculous article. Confusing a spell of decent form for long term promotion prospects. Far too early to give Struber such plaudits. In any case, the prediction takes no account of the players we will lose over the next few weeks. That could scupper any such optimism.

To be fair if you replicate the form since Struber took over across the season we'd have finished 9th.

Clearly that's hypothetical but you never know...

I think its wildly optimistic, especially if we lose Mowatt and Woodrow, think we’d all settle for a season where we werent in the relegation scrap at the bottom of the table.

Tbf all he is saying is that at odds of 50/1 we're worth a punt given the form under Struber last season. Not sure what the 1pt ew means but the article isn't as daft as made out.

No way, if we do start well, our best players will be sold and struber will be off at christmas, derailing the whole thing.

Jeez, everyone's a right barrel of laughs on here. I can't wait until 5 o'clock this evening when the usual suspects will be predicting relegation after our experimental side has lost 2-0 to Forest's first team

As I understand it, 1pt refers to how much he'd bet on it out of 5. So he'd have a small each way bet on it essentially.

He thinks Wednesday being relegated is a much safer bet, so he's given that 4pts (presumably out of 5).
