    This thread has highlighted beautifully the fickle nature of football fans.

    At the start of the thread, when the OP suggested we might be interested, there was several posts highlighting his lack of experience. As the thread has gone on, and it has been indicated he's probably going elsewhere, more and more people have said he'd be a good signing.

    I disagree. We've lost a lot of experience in midfield with Alex going. I think we're going to need it over the season, we've a long way to go.

    Kane is a catch 22 situation.

    Had loads of injuries and really needs to be playing full time to get him back up to full speed.

    We can't play him full time because he's not at match fitness or form because of said injuries.

    The only move we really had is to send him on loan and get a 'proper' player back next season.
