    My tin hat conspiracy theory is that this is why we signed Cole Kpekawa. 750k we allegedly paid for him from QPR who were managed by Hasselbank who is also caught up in this.

    I think the scam was external ownership of players and these blokes on the inside encouraging transfers that would lead to a pay out for the external owners.

    Total assumption mind. But this is an internet forum after all.

    Must admit I also thought it related to get players in. Wasn't it to do with some player ”owned” by a consortium. In the meeting he arranged with the reporters and Patrick he made it.clear it.was gainst league rules and walked out
