Full front page wraparound in the Chronicle with Maggie May's mug across it. Should someone have a word with her about Barnsley? Ours has already been cut up into squares and placed in the smallest room.

My dad rang me at 5 o clock ranting about Poundland Thatcher's mug coming through his letter box.

This year I really, really want to be visited by a nice Conservative candidate. So I can nicely, and politely, tell them to do one.

How can she face leaders of 27 countries when she is too scared to debate with the leaders of our own political parties?

Strong leadership? First sign of trouble(dementia tax) she wobbles and u turns

We haven't had a single bit of Tory propoganda here, we've had a local Labour MP pamphlet and two generic Labour leaflets, a generic Green Party leaflet and a Labour Lib Dem pamphlet. I thought they knew it was a bit pointless here but a Barnsley Chronicle wrap around? Doubt that will impress many.

Vets every crowd she talks to and any that have had a previous affiliation to another party made to leave (seen first hand)
She is now refusing to interview with any media outlet that doesn't own her:
    https://politicalscrapbook.net/2017...refusing-to-do-any-interviews-with-bbc-radio/

Brexit negotiations will be fantastic provided all EU negotiators are hardcore Thatcherites that don't ask any difficult questions or take her out of her comfort zone

And this isbwhat is wrong with politics and why so many are fed up of it.

It's ***** that any gathering can have pre approved submitted questions which are vetted upfront so a spineless and cop out non answer can be given.

Stick em up on some milk crates.

Let the real questions be asked without any pre warning.

You will then see who can really stand up and be counted.

That goes in any walk of life. Not just politics

The Chronicle ought to be ashamed of itself, think the advert in mine might get shredded and pushed through their letterbox, even if the inside has a smaller piece about Labour

Corbyn has pretty convincingly done this to large crowds throughout campaign.

The dear old BBC is the expert on this, with its appalling Question Time program...

I genuinely don't think that can be levelled at this election. Corbyn is the exact opposite of the reason people give for being fed up with politics. It's not an excuse this time not to vote.

    Yes.

Exactly the reason I no longer watch it. It's the same answers and scripted ***** week in week out.

    Own Goal alert:

South Thanet's incumbent MP Tory Candidate Craig Mackinley, his Agent and an "activist" have all been charged by the CPS
under the Representation of the People's Act 1983 around " irregularities" in their expenses return the 2015 election.

Theresa will probably say " we were campaigning for the party to win the election nationally not
just on a local basis, so unfortunately on this occasion Craig and his team misinterpreted the rules" .
Can't wait to watch the Daily Politics.

    No I agree.

Corbyn in this respect is a breath of fresh air. My comment wasn't directed at him but how things have been in general. For too long

    The U turns go on.

Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn will go head to head in a special edition of Question Time on BBC1 tonight.
Hadn't realised South Thanet was the one Nigel Farage tried to win in 2015.
Mackinlay won by around 2,000 votes.

    See my comment above.

It will be a set of questions that are pre approved. Much like PMQs. That will give the same crap we have listened to for weeks.

JC will ask a question or make a point. And the same scripted crap about leadership and strong and stable etc will be peddled out. Attack on JC and the answer will not represent the original question at all.

Unless these 2 and the audience can have an uninterrupted and real discussion it's all hot air and pantomime rubbish.
