Looks solid to me and we've got an interesting bench to draw on.

It isn't experimenting is it? We have two professional keepers in the first team squad. One has underperformed for a long time so the other has replaced him.

Nick Townsend has only every played a few professional games of football.

I know Davies has dropped a few clangers and is out of form, but from what I’ve seen of Townsend I would still pick an out of form Davies.

Let’s hope he has a stormer. He’s still very young for a keeper at 23. This is his big chance, but unless he really shows he’s not up to it I hope he gets a few games. Imagine today will either be superb or a horror show. Fingers crossed for the first.

Glad the lad has finally got a chance, I would have had him in before Christmas. Down to the lad now to make the position his own, Good Luck Nick.

Beg to differ.. Common Knowledge we've chased Eastwood all January and could not agree a fee. So for a a player that Hecky see ever day.. Townsend.. The only time he gets a game is when the said Eastwood deal fell through, in 2 and half years. I would definitely call it a experiment today
