Booked to go to toulouse in April to watch Fev but not got travel insurance yet. Anyone know if I get it this weekend and will I still be covered for cancellation or am I supposed to get it as soon as I book flights??
Read the terms and conditions. Get it ASAP though as a lot of insurance companies are stopping offering policies.
If the flights get cancelled, which now looks increasingly likely, you’ll get a refund anyway. Hotels aren’t regulated in the same way, so that’s your main risk. Try contacting them to find out what their policy is.
Hotel is free cancellation Pay on arrival anyway. Was thinking more flights. France have banned gatherings over 1000 people so match will be off. How they cancel flights now
Yeah my step dad and two boys in same situation. Hotel is on cancellation anyway, so just the three flights. Likely hood is flight will be cancelled, so refund or option to defer. Pretty gutted because they enjoyed it last season.
I'm not sure when you booked pal but i've got a feeling that you will not be going, this coronavirus is litterally spreading like wildfire and i honestly think that the restrictions in place as of now will only get tougher over the coming months. Todays Catalan V Leeds is off and it wouldnt surprise me that come next weekend the whole of superleague and the championship will follow suit, this virus isnt going anywhere anytime soon.
I know someone who booked a luxury holiday, they've been told it's cancelled and offered either 150% of the value in credit, or a full refund within 90 days. I think the real value of either option is about ten bob and they'll end up an unsecured creditor in a liquidation process. Hopefully it's covered by ABTA/ATOL
