You dreamt it mate. The commentator said that the organising team had reported in the game that his booking was the second of the tourney meaning he would miss the next game (Yesterdays Semi). They went on to say that they didn't recall him being booked earlier and hence not his second booking and that the FA would question the reported 2 bookings.
He has had some right hammer on twitter has mason. I didn't see the game but saw him have a few shockers for everton last season. Everton signed mason on potential and so far he hasn't lived upto it. Not sure if I'd take him back to oakwell atm.
I'd snap their hands off. It's a bit different playing for a team against world class players and against championship level players.
Maybe I'm been harsh, he has had a bad tournament though and not all players in the u21s are world class. Unproven in the premiership maybe a loan to a championship club next season would do him good. Still only 21 though so I'm sure he will have a good career
I have to say the tactics were particularly poor. everytime we attacked we looked like scoring, however we decided to park the bus after going 2-1 up and playing 3 at the back (midfielders that is) isn't gonna work. Im more a 'fortune favours the brave' person at this level. Get at em.
