I get where you’re coming from, but Isn’t tone like this just as toxic?

It's a tough one. How do you generate a sense of excitement when there isn't one? It's not easy for the club because of they put out anything about how we beat Bolton last season people will point out we aren't as good as last season. If they don't then they aren't doing anything to generate a good feeling and positivity. Not really much they can do to win.

If fans feel flat because of performances how do they force themselves to be more positive? Similarly anyone angry at the manager sacking, how do they change their opinion?

It's not easy all round but while I'd love a full house I can't blame anyone for choosing to keep their money in their pockets either. Wish there was another week's gap or something to try to give time to get a lift for fans.

No toxicity from me. No excitement or anticipation either though.

90% of this board in august were predicting relegation struggle or at best mid table finish.Nine months later we are in the playoffs no matter how we have performed or mistakes the club have made.Wonder if Lincoln Madrid and Barcelona Orient fans are being as negative.Oh sorry their seasons over with.

It’s time for a negativity amnesty. Plenty of time for evaluation after the play offs.

People are perfectly entitled to spend their time and money elsewhere and also not go for their own reasons. I just wish that's what they'd do and not impose their persistent whining on the rest of us.

If I am profoundly honest I would rather have these owners learning and making mistakes as they are doing than owners like ManC and NUFC have. Better to work and earn it than just buy it.

What evidence do you have that they are learning from their mistakes?

other types of owner are available.

We could have owners that do the same yet they fumble from the next mess up to to the next one.

I've made a right mess of things having booked my daughters U16s football team presentation evening and title winning celebratory curry for this Friday in Horsforth. Gutted. As is she. I knew the risk when i booked the damn thing before playoff dates announced but thought L2 would be Friday night. Deflated when that goal went in Sat to send us 6th and this clash. So will be "enjoying" a curry with 40 L**ds fans and relying on updates from my lad. Got 2nd leg tickets though although anything worse than 0-2 or equivalent I'll sell them back. You redzz..
